Tony Forrest, a native of North Carolina, now resides in Louisiana with his wife Martha. There they enjoy being a part of their children and grandchildrens' lives and instilling the love of fine art within these extended generations.
His genre ranges from realism and representational art, including portraits,to abstracts, with a high measure of color, texture, and design. His ability to diversify subject matter and evoke raw emotion has propelled Tony headlong into a demanding schedule filled with inspiration and opportunity.

Analyzing the virtues of academic art over that of abstract works has become an arduous endeavor better left to the intelligentsia. I have chosen to simply ''paint''. In my studio with paint and brush in hand I enjoy the music of individual artists that move from classical to light jazz to new age and to many others that simply please the mood of the moment. The same is true with my art!
